Being an avid sailor and having sailed through the Gulf of Aden on a previous long voyage I have been watching with much interest the growing crisis of Pirates attacking and hijacking both commercial and private vessels in the region. Today it was reported that a Cyprus ship has been attacked by pirates but thankfully Navy Patrol vessels managed to give chase and the Pirates were unsucessful… this time.
