As I have stated in previous blogs I love my job. I get to meet lots of people, get to assist them realise their dreams and have made some very good friends a long the way. However, there are parts to the job that I will never understand, namely clients not showing for a pre arranged appointment.What is wrong with people?
We have a wonderful three bedroom apartment for sale right in the heart of Larnaca City Centre
and because of its size, location, layout and competitive price it has generated much interest. Last week I did a viewing for a gentleman that seemed genuinely interested in the apartment and after
seeing it for the first time was very keen for his wife to see it. He said he would call to arrange for his wife to view and consequently we made an appointment for over the weekend as his wife works
and week day viewings are tricky. No problem as we at Kaimar are nothing but accommodating.
I tried to call him that morning to re-confirm the appointment but his phone was switched off. No problem I thought as I am sure that he would’ve called me if there was a problem. So true
to my word I go to the apartment at the appointed time and wait, and wait and wait and…..
Yes you’ve guessed it, he just did not show up!!! I really don’t understand this as I was
always brought up to show consideration for others. But no phone call, just no show and now two
days later still no word as to why.
Now I know I shouldn’t jump to conclusions. Maybe something awful has happened and the importance of viewing an apartment simply paled into insignificance. However, the regularity of these
happenings makes me think that something else came up and he didn’t deem it important to let
me know. Shame on you.
But I continue to smile as the pros far outweigh the cons :-) Honest.
