Kaimar Helping Cats in Cyprus

Posted in Cyprus Homes News tagged , , at 8:23 am by cyprushomes

At our Cyprus property sales office in Limassol, we have a morning routine with a difference.  Most people come in, turn on the computer, maybe make coffee then start working.  Here at our HQ we also look after what have been dubbed our ‘car park cats’.

At the back of our office we have around 15-20 cats of various shapes, sizes and colours.  As we are animal lovers, we try to look after our furry extended family as best we can and each morning this means breakfast!

Me First!

Me first! Me first!  This cat is always first in the queue for breakfast.

This is Marcus doing the morning feed.

To try and help cut down on the number of strays in Limassol, we work very closely with Mandy, Russell and Janice from Catsnip who pay us regular visits to catch any new cats and have them ‘done’.  They organise the periodic collection and return of the cats and a number of the local vets are used by the charity for the spaying and neutering operations.

This said, the operations still need to be paid for and Catsnip spend a lot of time organising fund raising events and also do the local ‘car boot’ sales and markets.  We also do a collection in our office for them so please feel free to pop in and make a donation.  For details of other ways you can help Catsnip, please click here.

Another thing we try to do is find homes for the cats.  We will always try when we sell our houses for sale in Cyprus to re-home one… or two… or more! Could you give a ready spayed/ neutered cat a home?  Give us a call today if you can on     +357 25 318 712     or drop us and email at enquiries@kaimarconsulting.com
